This 2023 Canadian $2 (Toonie) coin is the commemorative issue celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day . The reverse features a unique artistic collaboration on a circulation coin, signed by Megan Currie (English River First Nation), Myrna Pokiak (Inuvialuit), and Jennine Krauchi (Métis), combining powerful cultural symbols.
The coin is certified MS-66 (Mint State 66) , classifying it as "GEM+" (Jewel and more). It is a coin of exceptional quality , exceeding the basic collector standard (MS-65). The specimen is very well preserved, displaying only very slight contact marks or minting flaws that do not detract from its excellent visual appeal. It retains a brilliant and complete mint luster .
The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, with the double commemorative year of her reign ("1952-2022").
