Refund policy

At Grail Coins & Collections Inc., your satisfaction is our priority. We strive to describe each coin and collectible item with the utmost accuracy. If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please refer to our return policy below.

1. General Return Conditions

We accept item returns under the following conditions:

  • The item must be in the same condition as when you received it. This includes the condition of the coin, its protector (flip, slab, capsule), and all original packaging or certificates of authenticity.
  • The item must not show any signs of handling, alteration, or damage incurred after delivery.

  • Security seals or packaging (if present) must not be broken or altered.

2. Return Period

You have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of your order to initiate a return. Beyond this period, we unfortunately cannot accept returns or offer refunds or exchanges.

3. Non-Returnable Items or Items with Special Conditions

Certain types of items cannot be returned or are subject to specific conditions:

  • Sale or Clearance Items: Only regular-priced items can be returned. Sale or clearance items are considered final sales.

  • Bullion and Precious Metals: Due to the volatility of precious metals markets, bullion, bars, and investment coins whose value is primarily based on their metal content are generally not returnable, except in the event of an error on our part in the order or description. Any exceptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Custom or Special Orders: Items manufactured or ordered specifically at your request are not eligible for return.

  • Gift Cards.

4. Return Procedure

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Before returning an item, you must contact us by email at [service@grailcoins.ca] or by phone at [(819) 629-8015] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Secure Packaging: Once the RMA number is obtained, carefully package the item in its original packaging (if possible) and ensure it is well-protected for transit. Clearly include the RMA number inside the package.

  3. Shipping: Return the item to the address we will provide you with upon return authorization. We strongly recommend using a traceable and insured shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

    • Return Shipping Fees: Return shipping costs for the item are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect, damaged, or non-compliant item).

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within [number] business days.

  • If the refund is partial (for example, if only part of the items is returned, or if the item's condition warrants a deduction), the amount will be communicated to you.

6. Damaged or Non-Compliant Items

If you receive a damaged item or an item that does not match the listing description, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of receipt) at [service@grailcoins.ca]. Please include photos of the item and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue quickly, which may include a replacement, a full refund, or a partial refund, and we will cover return shipping costs if necessary.
