The Obverse (Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II)
All the coins bear the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. An additional historical feature is added to this obverse: the double date inscription "1952-2022" separated by four pearls symbolizing the four portraits that adorned Canadian coins during her reign.
