General characteristics
Pattern details
-
Obverse (reverse side): Features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. In a grade MS − Rated at 62 , the obverse displays much of its original luster . However, it is normal to note contact marks, impacts, or workshop scratches, which are clearly visible on the smooth fields and on the relief of the effigy.
-
Reverse (front side): The commemorative design features the stylized logo of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The grade MS − 62 means that the strike is good, but that marks and scratches are present and visible to the naked eye , particularly on the highest areas of the maple leaf relief. The field (background) retains an attractive luster.
