The Obverse (Effect of Queen Elizabeth II)

The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt , an effigy used on Canadian coins from 2003 to 2023. The image depicts the Queen without her crown, in a clean and contemporary style. The inscription "ELIZABETH II 2006 D • G • REGINA" surrounds the royal bust, along with the artist's initials "SB" and the workshop mark "P" (for plated steel). For an MS-62 grade , the striking luster is present, covering most of the surface, but may be slightly interrupted in some areas, with some minor contact marks visible to the naked eye on the high points of the relief.

The Reverse (Pink colored ribbon)

The reverse, designed by Cosme Saffioti  , represents a bright pink ribbon , a symbol of the fight against breast cancer, surrounded by a repetition of the values "25 CENTS" and the word "CANADA" The technique developed by the Royal Canadian Mint guarantees full adhesion of the colour to the metal and long-lasting resistance to wear. For an MS-62 grade , the pink ribbon's color is well preserved, without major flaking. The recessed details are crisp despite very slight handling marks around the edges.
