This 1980 Canadian 25-cent coin is a superior quality coin, graded MS-66 (Mint State 66) , which places it in the "GEM+" (Jewel Plus) or "Choice Gem Uncirculated" category. This grade indicates a coin of remarkable technical and aesthetic quality, highly sought after by collectors.

The coin is a regular issue, with the classic Caribou motif on the reverse, designed by Emanuel Hahn. It is composed of pure nickel.
