This 1980 Canadian 25 cent coin is graded MS-60 (Mint State 60) , which represents the minimum grade to be considered an Uncirculated (UNCIRCULATED) or Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) coin.

The coin is a regular issue, featuring the classic Caribou design on the reverse, created by Emanuel Hahn. This year's issue dates from the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is made of pure nickel.
