Coin Description
This magnificent 2-ounce pure silver coin was issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to capture the essence of the opposing forces that drive financial markets: the bull and the bear.
The reverse design, by artist Julius T. Csotonyi, features a bull with horns pointed upwards, symbolizing the growth and optimism of bull markets, confronting a bear with paws striking downwards, representing the caution of bear markets. This striking contrast is highlighted by varied engraving techniques that add depth and texture to the composition.
The obverse features the new effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. This is the first royal portrait to appear on Canadian investment coins after the reign of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The coin also incorporates advanced security features: precise radial lines on the background and a micro-engraved laser maple leaf containing the number "25", visible only under magnification.

Reverse
The dynamic scene on the reverse depicts a bull charging upwards while a bear strikes downwards, symbolizing the perpetual struggle between optimism and caution in stock markets. The image is accompanied by the inscriptions "CANADA", "2025", "9999" (purity), "FINE SILVER 2 OZ ARGENT PUR". The radial lines in the background enhance the security of the coin.
