This 2024 Canadian $2 (Toonie) coin is a commemorative issue celebrating the 100th anniversary (1924-2024) of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) . The coin is presented in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, which encompasses all collector grades from MS-60 to MS-70 on the Sheldon scale.
The version described is the Regular variant (uncolored, designated NC). The reverse design, created by Bernard G. Allum, features a range of iconic aircraft (Spitfire, CF-18 Hornet, F-35 Lightning II) in the center of the disc. The entire design is engraved directly onto the metal, without the use of ink.
BU (Brilliant Out of Circulation) / Mint State (MS) quality
All coins classified as "Mint State" (MS) have never been in circulation and retain their original mint luster. Quality is determined by the absence of contact marks and minting defects.

The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III .
