This 2024 Canadian $2 (Toonie) coin is a commemorative issue celebrating Inuit Nunangat , the homeland of the Inuit in Canada. The coin is presented in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, which encompasses all grades from MS-60 to MS-70 on the Sheldon scale.
The version described is the Colour circulation variant (selectively coloured), where the central motif of Nuliajuk (the spirit of the sea), resulting from a unique collaboration between four Inuit artists, is enhanced by the application of bright colours.
BU (Brilliant Out of Circulation) / Mint State (MS) quality
All coins classified as "Mint State" (MS) have never been put into circulation and retain their original mint luster. The quality of "Color" coins is particularly sensitive to handling due to the selective application of inks.
