BU (Brilliant Out of Circulation) / Mint State (MS) quality
All coins classified as "Mint State" (MS) were struck for circulation, but were never put into circulation and show no signs of wear.
-
MS-60 to MS-62 (Uncirculated): These coins retain all their original luster but may show numerous contact marks (scratches or dents) in the fields and on important parts, which are the result of contact with other coins during roll packing (the most common quality taken from rolls).
-
MS-63 to MS-64 (Choice Uncirculated): These coins have a very good luster and strike. They exhibit fewer or smaller contact marks than lower grades, located in less visible areas.
-
MS-65 to MS-66 (Gem Uncirculated): These are excellent coins. They display full luster, a crisp strike, and only minor marks or very slight imperfections, often requiring magnification to be seen.
-
MS-67 to MS-69 (Superb Gem): These coins are of exceptional quality, with a very strong strike and superior luster. They exhibit only minute, isolated, and almost imperceptible (MS-67 and MS-68) or virtually imperceptible (MS-69) imperfections.
-
MS-70 (Perfect Uncirculated): The piece is absolutely perfect , without any visible imperfections even under high magnification.
The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III .
