This 2023 Canadian $2 coin (Toonie) is the coloured version of the commemorative issue honouring the 100th anniversary of the birth of artist Jean Paul Riopelle . The reverse adapts his work Homage to Rosa Luxemburg with a bright and selective application of colour in the central disc.

Its MS-64 (Mint State 64) grade certification places it in the "CHOICE" category. This is a very good quality uncirculated coin. It has retained its full mint luster , but it may exhibit a more visible number of contact marks or minor minting flaws (compared to GEM grades) which are typical of mass-produced circulation coins. The color application is intact and uniform.
