This 2023 Canadian $2 coin (Toonie) is the coloured version of the commemorative issue honouring the 100th anniversary of the birth of artist Jean Paul Riopelle . The reverse features an adaptation of his work Homage to Rosa Luxemburg with selective colouring in the central disc.

Its certification with the MS-63 (Mint State 63) grade places it in the standard "CHOICE" category. This is a good quality uncirculated coin. It shows a moderate number of minting or handling defects (minor contact marks, fine scratches) inherited from the rolling process. Although the coin retains its full luster , this may be partially affected by these marks. The color application is considered intact .
