This 2017 Canadian 50-cent coin is a special commemorative issue issued for the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation (1867-2017). Its reverse features the unique "CANADA 150" logo design, created by a student, marking only the third time this denomination has received a commemorative motif.
Its state of preservation is exceptional . Certified with the high grade MS-67 (Mint State 67) , this piece is considered a "Superb GEM" (Superb Jewel), a very high-quality specimen, highly sought after by demanding collectors.

Obverse (reverse side): Designed by Susanna Blunt , it features the bust of Queen Elizabeth II without a crown, inscribed "ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA". A MS-67 grade coin has a full and very attractive luster . The strike is crisp and clear . Any imperfections are very minor and do not detract from the visual appeal.

Reverse (front side): Designed by Ariana Cuvin , it features the official "CANADA 150" logo , a stylized maple leaf in mosaic. The dates "1867" and "2017" are inscribed. The design is well-struck and the luster is uniform, giving the coin a very pleasing shine.
