This 2005 25-cent coin is part of the renowned Provinces and Territories 25-cent series , launched by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1999 to highlight the history and culture of each Canadian province and territory. The Saskatchewan coin, issued in 2005, celebrates the agricultural identity and landscapes of this Prairie province. The Obverse (Effect of Queen Elizabeth II)

It depicts a typical Prairie farm with a grain elevator, stylized ears of wheat, and the vast sky characteristic of the region. This design evokes the importance of agriculture and grain farming to this province. In MS-64 Choice+ , all the details of the farm, the wheat, and the landscape are perfectly sharp, with a full-rim strike.
