This 1978 Canadian 25-cent coin is classified AU (Almost Uncirculated) . This designation covers grades AU-50 to AU-58 on the Sheldon scale and indicates that the coin circulated very briefly , resulting in very slight but observable wear on the highest points of relief.
The coin features the classic Caribou motif on the reverse and is made of pure nickel.
